Honey Jack or "Then" (honey) Varikka, as the name indicates, is a very sweet variety of jackfruit. Ripe fruits don't spoil fast. The fruit can be quite large—15 kg or more. The carpels are rigid and sweet.
The tree grows into a big tree. It takes anywhere between 7 and 10 years for the tree to mature. However, grafted varieties mature in 3 years. Jackfruit plant seedlings cannot assure the variety, hence it is always better to use a grafted plant.
A fully grown honey jack can take a 30x30 feet space.
