Ber Apple or Elathapazham as it is called in the southern staes of India, is a small to medium-sized tree native to the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. The fruit is round to oblong-shaped, with a size of about 50 mm and a sweet-sour taste.
Nam Doc Mai is an excellent variety of mango for growing in your terrace garden or homestead. It can easily be grown in a container as well.
Kalapadi mangoes are known for their pleasant aroma and taste. It fruits 2-3 times a year and can also grow in slightly shaded conditions. The powdery coating on its skin protects it from fruit flies and other pests. Kalapadi mango plants take very little space to grow as it is a small tree.
